(1) LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY:
i). Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy with removal of gall bladder with stone.
Note: Micro Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy is also available.
The surgeon has started this operation since 1991 and has performed more than 5000 Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies.
a) 1-2% of gall stone slips to bile duct. One of the causes of jaundice is stone in the bile duct.
b) Apollo Hospital has got also many world class Gastroenterologist & performinterventional endoscopic Procedure i.e. ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancretography) to remove bile duct stone endoscopically & does not need any surgery.

(2) CIRRHOSIS OF LIVER:
1) Modified Sugiura procedure : This is done for uncontrolled bleeding from oesophageal or gastric vasices.
(3) STOMACH + DUODENUM:
1) Partial gastrectomy for cancer stomach.
2) Total gastrectomy for cancer stomach.
3) Vagotomy & by pass for duodenal ulcer which does not heal by medication.
4) Repair of perforation of gastric or duodenal ulcer.
5) Curative D2 resection for stomach cancer.
(4) GALL BLADDER :
1) Open cholecystectomy for gall stone where laparoscopic cholecystectomy is not possible.
(5) BILE DUCT :
1) Choledocholethotomy : Removal of stone from bile duct where stone removal by ERCP is not possible.
2) Hepatico-jejunostomy for various indications e.g. bile duct injury, multiple large bile duct stone, Hepaticolethiasis, Choledochal cyst etc.
(6) PANCREAS : Stone Removal from Pancreas and Pancreatico-jejunostomy
(7) LIVER :Liver cyst
(8) SMALL BOWEL: Resection and anastomosis for various causes i.e. Tumor, intussuception Tuberculosis etc.
(9) VERMITFORM APPENDIX : Lap./Open Appendecectomy
(10) COLON :
Resection & anastomosis for colonic tumor & other diseases.
Anterior resection for cancer rectum.
Abdomino perineal resection for cancer lower rectum.
Note : Entero-enteric anastomotic gun is used for lower rectal cancer.
(11) ANAL CANAL:
Anal fissure : Lateral sphenecterotomy.
Haemorrhoids : Conventional & longo operation.
Anal fistula : Fistulotomy
Other anal conditions are treated according to its merit.
